San Francisco, CA (April 1, 2014) – Jeff Grube, Lisa Brown and Tom Geidt announce the formation of Grube Brown & Geidt LLP, an employment boutique firm dedicated to client service, practical advice, efficient representation, and aggressive trial and complex litigation defense.

Jeff, Lisa and Tom – formerly with the employment law powerhouse Paul Hastings LLP in Palo Alto, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, respectively – bring to the table over 60 years of employment defense experience.  Together, they have represented employers in virtually every forum, including individual, collective, and class actions in state and federal courts throughout California and elsewhere, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings before the DLSE, DOL, DFEH, EEOC, and NLRB.

Jeff Grube co-founded Grube Brown & Geidt after practicing 20 years at Paul Hastings, most recently as vice chair of the Palo Alto office.  Jeff is a first-chair trial lawyer with an enviable record of wins for employers.  Jeff specializes in all forms of EEO litigation, along with wage-hour and sales commissions disputes and class actions.  Lisa Brown’s practice focuses on complex employment litigation, wage-hour class actions, independent contractor/employee misclassification matters, representative actions under the California Private Attorneys General Act, and trials.  Lisa splits her time between San Francisco and Los Angeles.  Tom Geidt brings a wealth of experience and practical know-how to GBG’s clients on every aspect of employment law, with particular expertise in wage-hour advice and class action defense.  Tom’s 30+ year career includes stints as a staff attorney at the NLRB, partner at a prestigious boutique employment defense firm, and 13 years at Paul Hastings.  “Our team provides an ideal balance of a deep knowledge of employment law and aggressive litigation strategy.  With Tom and Lisa, I am confident we can take any case at any stage and bring it to a successful resolution,” reflected Grube.
